Hi Guys , How have you all been! Hope you guys had a great week till now and looking forward for the weekend! I so need a break PHEW!

Today's blog is my pure love towards my roots, well I mean being a punjabi I was born and brought up in Kuwait but my love for punjab is so immense that I thought to do this blog and named it Punjabi Patola , those who don't know the meaning of Patola, it means attractive Punjabi Girl. I learnt this beautiful/Quirky word during my visit to Punjab and since then I use this word to compliment all the Aunties/Girls around me ;).

Patiala Salwar can never get out of fashion .. Do you agree ? They are must to have in your wardrobe. Whatever fashion trend comes and goes the charm and class of Patiala Salwar will never fade!

Patiala salwar has its roots connected to Patiala city in Punjabi The king then in patiala use to wear patiala salwar as their royal dress, and slowly it became fashion statement for Women in Punjab. The beauty about this style is, that it can be worn with different types of shirts (Kameez) like short kameez, Long Kameez , Now days also with cool Tee's with or without kimono are also trending.

A women looks her best in Patiala Salwar Kameez, correct me if I am wrong?, this is one look which all the women can carry and yet look beautiful and Patola in my words HAHA ;).

Many Bollywood stars have worn this style in many movies for instance Kareena in Jab we meet - who can forget that look? She carried it off like a piece of cake!

Now days Patiala Salwar Kameez is trending , specially with a Phulkari Dupatta :D

Phulkari Dupatta are just pure love <3 , they have beautiful flower like designs, which are known as embroidered design. Punjab are known for its Phulkari's, this beautiful embroidery is done mainly with floss silk and comes is different designs. Long back it was one of the best pick by women in punjab for any occasions and now it's trending back again .

The grace of Phukari dupatta comes when matched with a plain patiala salwar kameez , because the dupatta is so heavy in itself that a plain basic color below highlights the beauty of the dupatta.

It feels great to know that so much artistic talent we have in India. There are many types of Phulkari Dupattas and they are:

Chhamaas - This Dupatta beauty comes from the mirrors which are incorporated with the help of colourful threads like Blue , Red, Green.

Neelak - This Dupatta is made of a black or red background with yellow or bright red embroidery. The color of the Phulkari is mixed with metals.

Senchi Phulkari - This Dupatta is incorporated with designs like jewellery, earrings, birds, rings, necklaces.

Phulkari of South Delhi - This Dupatta have wide edge with pictures of animal and birds incorporated.

Til Patra - This beautiful Dupatta have spread out embroidery like sesame seeds , this design dupatta is also known as sprinkle of seeds.

Chope and Subhar - This style of Dupatta are worn by brides. The subhar has a centeral motif and four motif on the corner , the chope is embroidered on both side of the cloth, only the borders and four edges are embroidered in fine embroidery.

The charm of Phulkari dupatta is trending nowadays, all beautiful Bollywood stars like Priyanka / Sonakshi and many more are pairing them with plain salwar kameez .

Punjabi Jutti: My love for punjabi Jutti can never fades away, there are so many and so beautifully designed Juttis in Punjab specially. If I had to choose I would have bought all colors and all style Juttis (love struck😍). They look so graceful and yet Classy.

I wear them with my Indians as well as westerns wear, specially below my denims they add a touch of class. Wearing Juttis below western wear is also trending and within no time it will spread like a wild fire.
